Lyman Orchards is a farm with 1,000 acres that grows apples, peaches, berries, and pumpkins. The Apple Barrel the store has a large selections of fruits and vegetable, baked goods, cheese, and speciality foods to buy. You can find a large selection of apples all year depending on what is in season. A great place to buy baked goods for holidays and special occasions. It is a unique place to go with your kids and family.
You can pick your own apples, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches and pears in season. The seasons run from June to October. Lyman Orchard takes order for pies and apples. Non-profit organizations and schools can raise money for their organizations by selling pies. Lyman Orchard has many special events for young children. With Easter coming up on March 31, they offer two workshops. The Easter Apple Hunt on Saturday, March 23 has hunting for apples in an Easter hay maze. That day their is a magic show and pony rides. This is for children 1-10 years. Online registration is suggested.
Another workshop is Easter Cupcake and Easter Basket Workshop on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children will decorate a Easter basket, cookie and cupcake in bakery area. Prepaid reservations are accepted. Only 15 children per session so class size is limited.
