Lyft, the popular San Francisco-based car sharing company that is revolutionizing taxi service, recently established its presence in Saint Paul. The launch party was held last night at A' Bulae, the latest event center in Saint Paul's Lowertown neighborhood. Along with live music and dance floor, the party featured an open liquor bar and a build your own S'mores bar complete with handmade marshmallows. I'm still not sure which one I was more excited about. All I know is that my stomach hurts this morning from mixing the two. Hors d'oeuvres were also served alongside delicious chef-made hamburger sliders.
The party was a great way to close out the summer, and A'Bulae was the perfect place to host it.
Standing out amongst historic buildings of Lowertown, A'Bulae opened in June of 2013 as a state of the art event center catering to weddings, receptions, corporate affairs, and parties, like the one last night for Lyft. A wholly customizable space, A'Bulae has already established itself as one of the premier venues in the Twin Cities, with almost every Saturday already booked through 2014.
