LUXES Bracelet - Sunscreen Reminder for Active Individuals

See also

I've been sunburned. We all have at one point because we didn't know when exactly to add more sunscreen or we were having fun and forgot to reapply. Have you ever gotten sunburned on a cloudy day? How do you keep track of your sunscreen effectiveness and when it’s time to apply more?

The innovative LUXES bracelet features patent-pending technology that simulates your skin’s reaction to UV radiation in your surroundings, reminding you to apply or reapply proper sun protection.

So how does it work? LUXES consists of a bracelet and a UV activated insert. LUXES uses a proprietary smart material to create the UV activated insert. The silicone rubber-based smart material will darken in color when exposed to UV radiation to simulate human skin reaction to UV radiation. The color changing action is reversible when the smart material is removed from the UV source. You must do your own due diligence and be responsible for your purchases.

Here is the schedule: Manufacturing Schedule

Funding from Indiegogo = End of December
Create mold for bracelet and Inserts (4 to 6 weeks) = End of February
Production of LUXES bracelet (4 - 6 weeks) = End of March
Packaging and Delivery (4 weeks) = End of April

Perks include any number of bracelets for friends and family.
