Lupita Nyong'o wins Oscar and looks fabulous doing it

Today in Los Angeles Lupita Nyong'o was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her harrowing portrayal of Patsey, a female slave caught between the lust of her master and the hatred of her mistress.

The Yale School of Drama alum stunned at the awards show in a custom, icy blue gown designed by Prada, continuing her streak of beautiful dresses this awards seasons with a color that was eye catching and a silhouette that was effortless.

Nyong'o accentuated the gown with diamond earrings and a headband. The Oscar winner commented that the color of the dress "...reminds me of Nairobi, so I want to have a little bit of home."
