Lupita Nyong’o turns heads once again, and this time it is on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2014 annual Hollywood issue, according to a Feb. 4 MTV Style News report. The actress is one of several stars featured on the cover of Vanity Fair for the magazine’s March edition.
According to Us Weekly, the stunning Vanity Fair cover was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and features a star-studded, three-panel foldout cover celebrating a “year of spectacular film with a group of distinguished actors.”
The Vanity Fair cover, which has been called the most diverse covers of all time, according to a CNN report, includes a beautiful, diverse array of actors and actresses, with a stunning Nyongo’o taking center stage in a metallic dress reminiscent of an Academy Award statue. The actress wows in a slinky, form-fitting dress that shows off her impressive toned figure – the arms, the legs, the sleek physique and those abs. Few women can pull off such an unforgiving dress.
Other well-dressed actors on the cover who look like they are getting ready to hit the 2014 Academy Awards red carpet include Julia Roberts, Margot Robbie, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Idris Elba, George Clooney Michael B. Jordan, Jared Leto, Brie Larson, and Chadwick Boseman. The cover includes six actors of color: Ejiofor, Elba, Jordan, Nyong'o, Harris and Boseman.
Both Ejiofor and Nyong'o are up for Academy Awards for their stellar performance in the gripping movie, “12 Years A Slave.” Nyong'o is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
