Grammy nominated rapper, Lupe Fiasco, performing at a gig held in honor of Barack Obama's inauguration on Sunday was escorted off the stage after launching into an anti-Obama song and continued to rant about the President and his policies to for 30 minutes, according to The Washington Post, Jan. 21.

The paper reported that “Even at an event celebrating President Obama’s second term, Lupe didn’t hesitate to criticize the president, announcing that he did not vote for him.”

Fiasco rapped “Words I Never Said,” a protest song in which the outspoken lyricist said, "Limbaugh was a racist, Glenn Beck was a racist, Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say shit."

At some point during Fiasco’s act which was billed as the headliner for the party, the entertainer was removed from the stage by security guards.

Fiasco was criticized by party goers that said he should not have used the celebratory event to make political statements or bash the President.
