Lunatic Alert: Full moon in sidereal Cancer/Capricorn on January 26, 2013

Tonight’s full moon in sidereal Cancer on January 26, 2013 @ 11:39 PM (EST) places a spotlight on the home front. This full moon is all about recognizing and dispelling old programs that’s been living rent free in the depths of your subconscious mind. All that’s hidden underneath a politically correct posterior, has the potential to amicably reveal itself or to explode like a tsunami bitchfest. The Cancer moon asks that you remain mindful of your human impulses and nature; Nobody’s perfect, we’re perfect just the way we are, and the perfect antidote to change sometimes arrives in a fit of rage. Be sure to allow enough room to channel these intense energies, as it’s time to begin the journey of truly knowing thyself. Insecurities attached to emotional ties, related to finances, friendships, family and the changes associated within the house of the moon, may evoke a need to smash those rose colored glasses, shed the crusty layers of denial and take a long walk down memory lane…. and don’t be surprised if you stumble upon a few stubborn fuckers who successfully booby trapped your road to peace and prosperity…

Cat-o-nine tails, pleassssse!!!

Sidereal Mars moved exact into Aquarius, alongside this crabby ass full moon. An undying need to protect your family from the hostility, that’s been plaguing the world around you, may seem unnatural and appalling at first. By looking at what is, instead of what you’re wishing it to be, you can formulate a holistic approach and model the change you want to see. Remember to remain true to your emotions and journey and forget about all of that kumbaya shit, too—it clouds your unique expression and tend to get in the way of much needed growth. An opposition between a Capricorn sun (conjunct Mercury) and the Cancer moon ask for the “perfect” blend of compromise. Most of the groundwork is done through effective communication. It’s not all about what you say, since actions speak much louder than words. If you have to get a little dirty during the process, so be it. Mars will remain in Aquarius until March 5, 2013.

Jupiter in 11 degrees of Taurus is sextile to the Cancer full moon. It might make “perfect” sense to seek out new ways of managing your household. If you feel the need to take up a new course of study, go for it. What about expanding how you see the world through travel (and or astral, too)? Jupiter’s conjuction to Vesta amplifies the dedication needed to support the changes that are taking place. If you have already begun managing your energy through exercise, proper nutrition and a positive outlook, then you’re on the right track. Remember to accentuate your lifestyle with a courageous mindset; it combats fear and allows the transitional stages of change to happen more successfully.

Saturn in 16 degrees of Libra is squared Mercury. With this pair, coupled with living in such a sensitive and policed society, even Michelle Obama couldn’t get away with a simple yet “perfect” eye roll. If your thoughts and intentions match your gestures, then you’re well on your way to effectively getting your message across. Uranus in 10 degrees of Pisces is trine Saturn, reinforcing our own personal and collective shock value as we head further down the road of politics, pop culture and those damn reality TV programs. It’s quite possible, you too simply want to blurt shit out and accept the consequences later. With the energies presented via the Saturn and Mercury square, you should probably bear in mind that body language speaks the hidden truth. Just in case you’re rolling your eyes to my elementary banter on proper and effective communication, a few colloquialisms related to the art and etiquette of verbal communication may sound something like this, “A closed mouth will never get fed, put your money where your mouth is, or don’t bite off more than you can chew!”

Lunar mansion 8: A powerful moment calls for letting go of some ego attachments and allowing room for growth. The magic found in the cyclical nature of 8’s represent death, change and transformation. When the hidden aspects of the mind (and shadow) began to surface, while stirring an uncomfortable brew, know that at the end of the process lie your treasures.
