Luminate Primordial from 'Gatecrash' revealed (Photos)

Luminate Primordial is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today Jan. 11, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash." Revealed in an article by Chris Lansdell on ManaDeprived.com, Luminate Primordial is a powerful creature card from Commander players to abuse.

When Luminate Primordial enters the battlefield, for each opponent, exile up to one target creature that player controls and that player gains life equal to its power.

Just like Diluvian Primoridal, Luminate Primordial shines in multiplayer games where it can exile multiple creatures at once. Even in normal one on one duals though, this walking Swords To Plowshares can help play a pivotal role against your opponent.

Two-for-one's are always beneficial, especially when they can deal with problematic creatures like Lotleth Troll and Predator Ooze. Cards that allow you to flicker Luminate Primordial like Restoration Angel and Deadeye Navigator will let you to extract extra value from it as well.

Although Luminate Primordial won't provide the massive swing and potential card advantage that Angel of Serenity can, it'll keep the targeted creature exiled for good.
