If you’re in the market for a new Windows phone, you might be interested to know that the Nokia Lumia 929 is heading to Verizon soon. Another leaked photo of the device showed up online, this time giving us a peek at the back of the device and placement of the rear camera.
As PhoneArena reported Thursday (Oct. 3), a new leaked image of the Lumia 929 reveals a white color scheme on the back of the phone, complete with the Verizon logo and its 20-megapixel Nokia PureView rear camera.
Known for leaking images of upcoming mobile devices before they're release dates, @evleaks posted the press image of the upcoming Lumia 929 on Twitter Wednesday. Last month, @evleaks leaked another press shot of the 929 that revealed the front of the phone, with its Windows tile style display and Verizon logo on the bezel.
The Nokia Lumia 929 Windows phone will be the successor to the Lumia 928, which featured a smaller, 8.7-megapixel PureView rear camera. The form factor of the device is expected to be slightly smaller than its sibling, the Lumia 1520, also rumored to be released soon. While the 1520 is expected to be a 6-inch device, the size of the Lumia 929 is speculated to be within the 4.5 to 5-inch range, with a display of 1080p.
The Lumia 929 is rumored to have a Nov. 8 release date for Verizon with a full retail price of $500, according to earlier reports. Heading to AT&T, possibly that same day will be the Lumia 1520, expected to be will be $700 full price. Nokia is expected to announce both new Lumia devices on October 22.
