Luke Bryan tops Billboard album chart

Luke Bryan tops the Billboard Country Album chart with "Crash My Party" on the charts released Thursday, May 1.

A compilation of songs from artists on the hit TV show "Nashville" lands at number two. Florida Georgia Line slips a notch to third place, while Eric Church falls to number four with his latest release. Johnny Cash rounds out the top five with "Out Among the Stars."

Blake Shelton moves up two spaces with "Based On A True Story." Cole Swindell's self-titled debut also moves two spots. After four weeks on the chart, Dan + Shay fall to number eight. Dierks Bentley's "Riser" also sees significant gains this week, landing at number nine. Martina McBride completes the top ten.

The albums in positions eleven through fifteen are: "Comin Home" by Jessie James Decker, Jason Aldean's "Night Train," "High Noon" from Jerrod Niemann, Sara Evans' "Slow Me Down," and a soundtrack from "Nashville."

Kacey Musgraves, Jake Owen, George Strait, and Luke Bryan also land in the final positions.
