Luke Bryan will upgrade to a stadium tour for the first time this summer. His upcoming That’s My Kind of Night Tour, which kicks off January 16 in Ohio, will include three stadium venues over the summer months. The stadiums, as well as arena dates are all expected to sell out quickly.
The first half of Luke Bryan’s tour dates have already sold out, just as his Dirt Road Diaries Tour did last year. The second leg of the That’s My Kind of Night Tour will begin on May 3, with pre-sales expected to be announced later this spring.
This summer, Luke Bryan will play Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on June 21, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on August 15, and Soldier Field in Chicago on August 31. Lee Brice and Cole Swindell will open for Luke Bryan. Dierks Bentley will join the tour for the Heinz Field performance.
In a press conference announcing the stadium dates, Luke Bryan expressed his gratitude to his fans:
The beauty of this career is, you guys keep allowing my years to get better and better. You guys made this morning possible and it is my privilege to take this show out on the road. It wouldn’t be possible without you and I’m going to give it my all every night. I love you guys and see you in 2014!
Luke Bryan is the reigning ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year. His emotional reaction to his win will long be remembered by country music fans, his humbleness part of what endears him to so many people. Besides being an all around likeable guy, Luke Bryan also puts on a show that gives fans their every penny’s worth. His That’s My Kind of Night Tour will undoubtedly be another highly talked about show, but fans should be prepared to have their credit cards in hand and their minds made up as soon as tickets go on sale because they won’t last long.
