Luke Bryan scores multiple nominations for the ‘2014 Billboard Music Awards’

Luke Bryan leads all country performers heading into the “2014 Billboard Music Awards.” Billboard announced on April 9, 2014 that Bryan received seven nominations in six categories which includes a double nomination in the "Top Country Song" category with "Crash My Party" and "That's My Kind Of Night.”

Bryan competes against himself in the "Top Country Song" category with "Crash My Party" and "That's My Kind Of Night" and also faces Florida Georgia Line Featuring Nelly with "Cruise," Darius Rucker’s hit "Wagon Wheel" and Blake Shelton Featuring Pistol Annies & Friends for "Boys 'Round Here."

In the "Top Country Album" category Bryan’s "Crash My Party" is up against Garth Brooks "Blame It All On My Roots: Five Decades of Influences," Florida Georgia Line "Here's To The Good Times," The Robertson’s "Duck The Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas" and Blake Shelton "Based On A True Story."

Bryan also heard his name called in the "Top Country Artist" category where he faces Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift. Bryan could also walk away as a winner as the overall "Top Male Artist" where he is up against Drake, Eminem, Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. Bryan is competing against Beyonce, Eminem, One Direction and Justin Timberlake for the title of "Top Billboard 200 Artist."

Bryan is also up for the fan voted "2014 Milestone Award" presented by Chevrolet. There are six names in the running for the award at this point but they will be narrowed down to three finalists. The top three finalists are set to be announced on April 21, 2014. The “2014 Billboard Music Awards” happen live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 18, 2014.
