NBC news affiliate in Columbus, Ohio, reported that the stage collapsed at teh Schottenstein Center after the Luke Bryan concert there. The stage collapsed after a forklift struck the rear of the stage, causing part of it to collapse. Crews were working on tearing down the stage an hour after the concert when the incident happened. Four employees were taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.
According to OSUPD, Kyle W. Davis, 47, of Columbus, sustained a minor injury to his left foot; Leonard G. Devrijer, 49, of Columbus, sustained a minor injury to his left foot; Andrew J. Gammon, 26, of Nashville, Tennessee, sustained a minor injury to his left forearm; Steven J. Meyers, 41, of Bremen, sustained a minor injury.
The new concert date for Luke Bryan is set for February 21, 2014, at Rupp Arena. More information can be found at their website, www.rupparena.com.
