Announced today via Luke Bryan’s website, the Farm Tour will hit Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida this October. Those eight shows will generate revenue that will in part, be given to a scholarship fund in the singer’s name. The scholarships are then granted to students from farming families so that they can attend college.

The 2014 Farm Tour will be the sixth go-round for Luke Bryan, something that proves his merit as a man and not just a successful country music artist. The fact that Luke Bryan was already giving back before the wildly successful year he’s had since winning the ACM Entertainer of the Year award in the spring of 2013 says a lot about him as a human being. He seems to be a man who remembers where he came from as well as a man who deeply appreciates the hard work and sacrifice of today’s farmers.

Luke Bryan is scheduled to play the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 27 as part of the That’s My Kind of Night Tour. The Farm Tour will run from October 1 through October 11, giving him a three day break before he tackles the eight-straight additional shows. He will then get a four day break to recuperate before crossing the country to play the Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre in Sacramento, California on October 16.

It’s going to be a busy fall for Luke Bryan but then he’s had a crazy busy year already. The That’s My Kind of Night Tour dates were selling out like fans thought they’d never get another chance to see him. Through it all though Luke Bryan has remained humble, just soaking in the thrill of playing for his adoring fans and being continually amazed when he’s rewarded with awards.

Luke Bryan’s tours will wrap just in time to start the lineup of fall awards shows. It will be no surprise if he’s nominated for the top awards at the CMA and American Country Awards this year.

Meanwhile, fans who are still eager to see Luke Bryan in concert and might even be willing to take a road trip to do so, can head over to Luke Bryan Farm Tour online to see the full schedule and get set to purchase tickets beginning August 1.
