Luke Bryan is certainly earning his title as the reining ACM Entertainer of the Year. With a full tour schedule ahead of him, the country superstar has officially launched his very own webisode series, called LBTV.
In the very first episode, Bryan gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations surrounding his headlining That's My Kind Of Night Tour. "To have people get you there, help you along the way, you learn that you can't do it by yourself," he says of the cross-country venture. "You learn that you've got to have a lot of amazing people that believe in you and trust you."
He adds, "It's obviously a huge dream of mine to be something relevant in the city of Nashville."
Well, the hit-maker has clearly done just that over the past couple years. His latest album, "Crash My Party," bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, having moved over 500,000 copies first week, and has spawned multiple chart-topping hits, including "That's My Kind Of Night" and the title track.
While out on the road, Bryan has enlisted newcomer Cole Swindell and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Lee Brice as his opening acts. "It's starting to get a little more real every day," Swindell admits. "This is the most important time. There's a lot of people fighting for this spot. So, I gotta work hard to keep it."
"I want to always tour with people that are friends," Bryan says of Brice and Swindell, "people that I respect their music, respect how they are with their fans."
The That's My Kind Of Night Tour kicked off on Jan. 16 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio and continues its trek well into the fall.
