Luke Bryan has achieved another #1 spot, this time through Mediabase. All Access Music Group reported on February 10 that “Drink A Beer” has moved into the top spot on the Mediabase Country Singles Chart.

The single was written by Chris Stapleton and Jim Beavers and appears on Luke Bryan’s “Crash My Party” album. Though Luke Bryan didn’t have a hand in writing the song, it is very personal to him. The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year has been dedicating “Drink A Beer” to his late siblings, Kelly and Chris. He performed it as a very touching tribute to his brother and sister at the CMA Awards in November.

As “Drink A Beer” moves into the #1 spot on the Mediabase chart, Luke Bryan will find himself on top of Lon Helton’s Country Countdown USA and Kix Brooks’ American Country Countdown, among others.

Luke Bryan has already been enjoying the #1 position on the Billboard Hot Country chart for the past three weeks. Achieving the Mediabase honor only further validates how meaningful the song is to so many fans.
