Luke Bryan has scored his first No. 1 album with the release of his new album titled, "Spring Break...Here to Party" according to the Billboard 200 chart released today (March 13). The album soared to No. 1 this week despite the release of the album containing the newly discovered Jimi Hendrix tunes that was expected to take top honors on the chart. The Hendrix album took the No. 2 spot on the chart.
The new "Spring Break...Here to Party" album is available on CD and as a download and contains a compilation of tunes from Bryan's four other spring break theme songs.
Bryan has soared to new heights in popularity in the past year with record sales and his first solo tour. He is currently our on the "Dirt Road Diaries" tour which kicks off on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Orange Beach, Alabama. The tour is booked through October 26, 2013 with a last stop in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Bryan will be co-hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards this year with Blake Shelton. This will be an interesting combination to host the event and guaranteed to be entertaining. The Academy of County Music Awards will air on CBS on April 7, 2013. Bryan is also booked to perform on the show in addition to his hosting duties.
