Luis Enrique new head coach of Barcelona

Barcelona have officially announced there new head coach, Luis Enrique.

The club released a statement saying,"The FC Barcelona Board of Directors have this evening confirmed Luis Enrique Martinez as the new first team coach, following a proposal from sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta,"

The club also stated, "Luis Enrique, 44, will sign a two-year deal."

It should be noted that Luis Enrique played for Barcelona for 8 years.

His managerial experience consists of coaching the Barcelona B team for 3 years, and then coaching Italian giants AS Roma for a year in 2011. His last coaching job began in 2013 as head coach of Celta Vigo, he led them to 9th in La Liga.
