BROOKLYN--The lingering stink from getting robbed against Ricky Hatton now smells like perfume.

The slick southpaw Luis Collazo, out of the Williamsburg neighborhood in this borough, became a genuine article hometown hero with a brutal, two round destruction of fellow lefthander Vicious Victor Ortiz Thursday night in front of 8,050 fans at the Barclays Center.

At age 32, Lefty Looie finally made a bold statement about who he is and what's he all about in the ring. In fact, it was so one-sided that Ortiz, who only turns 27 Friday, would be well advised to brush up on his soft shoe routine and become a full-time song and dance man or an actor.

Ortiz was shockingly inept, even flinching after a knockdown when Collazo wasn't even essaying a hurtful punch.
Gun shy, that's how Ortiz looked, making a mockery of his nickname.

The four round KO loss to Pound For Pound ruler Floyd Mayweather was no shame but it's hard to fathom how Ortiz came back from his broken jaw upset loss to Joseito Lopez without any kind of tune up bout.

The wreckage was more likely a tune out bout for the personable Ortiz. He keeps taking beatings like this he will appear on "Dancing With The Scars."

But Ortiz's demolition is just the sidebar in the County of Kings, where on a chilly winter night, it was the so often ignored, so often overlooked Collazo who soared.

King Luis, you done yourself and your "Billyburg" hood proud. Ricky who?

Ortiz's pro mark dipped to 29-5-2 while Collazo improved his to 35-5 with 18 KOs.

In Williamsburg, there is but one King of the Ring and his name is Collazo.
