Lucy Lawless sentenced: It won't stop the 'Xena' actress (Video)

Lucy Lawless is sentenced. On Feb. 6, 2013, The Washington Post reported the "Xena: Warrior Princess" actress was sentenced due to her protesting aboard an oil-drilling ship. The 44-year-old New Zealand star, along with seven other Greenpeace activists, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Each was ordered to pay the equivalent of $547 in New Zealand currency to a port company and complete 120 hours of community service.

Lucy is not the first celebrity to be arrested for protesting environmental matters. For example, actress Daryl Hannah was arrested in Aug. 2011 for protesting the proposed Keystone oil pipeline. In Oct. 2012, the actress was again arrested for protesting. And in June 2009, Jessica Alba got in trouble for her protest against endangering Great White sharks. Although not arrested, she was under investigation for reportedly plastering posters of the sharks to raise awareness.

Despite the sentence, Lawless says she will continue protesting against oil drilling. Prepare to see the "Spartacus" actress in trouble again.
