Volunteers of Baldwin Park Shelter

For ten years Lucky had a home, but now his family moved and just surrendered the little guy to the Baldwin Animal Care Center. Confused, depressed and alone, Lucky needs help. He was dropped off on August 11 and became available on August 15 for adoption, yet no one has offered to give this poor guy a break. A volunteer writes the following:

"The shelter said he's been a good boy; he's basically healthy and is neutered. Lucky is missing some teeth and has dental disease. His eyes are a little hazy (bilateral nuclear sclerosis) but he can see! Lucky is a cute little thing and would love nothing more than to go home..."

How tragic for Lucky to have been with his family for practically a dog's lifetime, and then to be abandoned. Lucky's story has been shared nearly 3,000 times, and pledges are available to an approved rescue organization.
