Lucky in Love offers an interesting story about April Fool's Day pranks that actually come true. The premiere of the movie on the Hallmark Channel is interesting timing as April Fool’s Day was only a few days ago. Starring Jessica Szohr, Deidre Hall and Benjamin Hollingsworth, the cast comes together in a dynamic way to offer up believable characters in a very intriguing story. According to the Charlotte Observer on Saturday, the world premiere movie shares what would happen if all the pranks on one day came true.
For Mira Simon (played by Jessica Szohr), the changes in her life feels like a prank when all of her dreams start coming true on April Fool's Day. When three of her tricks materialize, it feels very odd. Mira finds herself promoted to the perfect job, dating the perfect man, and living in the perfect home. Her huge promotion offers an opportunity to work with a hero, CEO Erin Billings (played by Deidre Hall) and her friend, Jonah (played by Benjamin Hollingsworth), on a big social media website.
Mira Simon realizes that living this dream is harder than imagined. The pressure at work builds, a busy schedule and her seemingly-perfect boyfriend isn’t quite what she wanted. What once seemed like April Fool's Day fortune is turning out to be a big joke on Mira.
Lucky in Love premieres April 5, on the Hallmark Channel at 9 p.m. ET.
