The fall television season is underway and already there are several new hits for networks. Fans of television are losing several of their long-time favorites and looking for new shows to love. ABC has always been a stellar network and shows that premiere on it usually get picked up. It looks like the 2013 fall line-up isn’t what ABC may have hoped for. According to a report by Deadline.com on September 26, “Lucky 7” bombed in ratings. It was the lowest rated fall series premiere ABC has ever had. That is a huge deal for a network.
“Lucky 7” features a group of men and women that work at a gas station. Each of them have their own set of problems they are dealing with. The basic story line is that they win a large sum of money in the lottery, but there are several sub-storylines. While the previews looked decent, there wasn’t much of a viewer turn out.
While it doesn’t look like the network will pick up “Lucky 7,” it isn’t a terrible show. It airs Tuesday nights on ABC at 9 p.m. CST. The series premiere is available online at ABC.com.
