While LuAnn de Lesseps isn't a full-time housewife on the latest season of "The Real Housewives of New York City," it turned out to be a very good thing for her. As reported by the NY Daily News on Friday, March 14, LuAnn believes season six to be one of her best.
The countess told the publication at the show's cast party on Wednesday night that season six is one of her favorites.
One person she doesn't seem to have missed filming with is Ramona Singer. LuAnn pretty much said that Ramona is a loose cannon.
"There’s always been friction between me and Ramona, but we’re in a safe place right now. We’re not at odds for the moment. You never know with Ramona, you never know what you're going to get," she said of her co-star.
Indeed, Ramona seemed to throw LuAnn under the bus that night by saying that she fakes things for the cameras.
“Well, LuAnn isn’t considered an original. She’s just a part-time Housewife, so really I’m the only standing original,” said Singer, “and the reason is I don’t play for the cameras, I play for me," she said.
Ramona's co-star Heather Thomson doesn't agree with that assessment. She said in a recent interview that LuAnn allowed her true self to be portrayed this season.
"I think LuAnn, on the show, it's her best season ever...I think you see the real LuAnn, you know outside of that, really flourish this season and so I'm thrilled about that for her because I get to share her with everybody I feel like in a really real way," she said.
