LuAnn de Lesseps dishes on 'RHONY,' her spinoff aspirations

LuAnn de Lesseps has been downgraded to a friend of the Housewives ahead of "The Real Housewives of New York City" season six, but that's not keeping LuAnn out of the action of the show. In fact, LuAnn says she will be rejoining the show with a "bang" -- even if it isn't until the fourth episode.

"You’ll see me arrive late into the season," LuAnn revealed to Wetpaint Entertainment on March 17. "I come in in the fourth episode, but I come in with a bang!"

Judging the sneak peeks at the upcoming show, there are a lot of bangs -- and they are coming from places fans aren't used to. While certain members of the cast have been more subdued, roles are changing this year, and that's sure to mix up the dynamic between the women.

As far as LuAnn's part in the show, she will be seen with the ladies as usual, and fans will even get a glimpse at the end of her relationship with Jacques, from whom she split at the end of summer 2013. And speaking of that, LuAnn is hoping to be awarded with her own spinoff show, which will help her get back in the dating game.

"I feel like I need my own dating show, called Finding Mr. Right," she explained. "Who can charm the socks off The Countess? That’s what I need. It’s hard to find charming guys."

LuAnn also revealed that she is launching a clothing line.

"I’m working on an apparel line that’s coming out May 17 for ShopNBC," she added.
