Originally listed for $9,995,000 three months ago, the home is now on the market for $8,995,000, according to a March 14 report by Realty Today.

The home, which scales around 6,500-square-feet, sits on a 2.2-acre lot and is comprised of six bedrooms and seven full and one half bathrooms.

In the outdoor area, there is a tennis court, large patios, a heated gunite pool and several areas for entertainment. A separate pool house with a den is located on the property as well, as is a kitchenette, loft, full bath and a three-car garage.

De Lesseps and her former husband bought the property for about $500,000 in the mid-90s and spent approximately $1.4 million on renovations.

Of selling the property, De Lesseps recently said, "It was a place we called home for a long time and I'm sad to see it go."

De Lesseps and her husband enjoyed the property for many years, but once their kids were grown, and the two divorced, it was simply too much space to maintain, and De Lesseps, although it will always hold a place in her heart, looks forward to unloading it and starting fresh.
