Jordan Mickey, a forward, on the LSU men's basketball team was named to the mid-season watch list for the 2014 Integris Wayman Tisdale Award on Friday, Jan. 24 (2014).

The Integris Wayman Tisdale Award is presented to a freshman each year by the United Sates Basketball Writer's Association who is the freshman of the year.

Mickey is among eight other freshmen that was added to the mid-season watch list. The only freshman from LSU that has won this award was Chris Jackson (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf), who brought home the award in its first year of existence in 1988-1989.
