Leavenworth Road Association (LRA) held a fundraiser during the 2013 Wyandotte County Lake Park Eagle Day at the F.L. Schlagle Library, 4051 West Dr., Kansas City, Kan.
"Our fundraising [efforts] at the Eagle Presentation made $330.50," said Lou Braswell, executive director. "Along with the dollars we made some excellent connections, a few possible new members and new attendees at our meetings."
The LRA wanted to convey its gratitude to the following volunteers: Deniese Davis, John Zawacki, Rose Marie Allman, Bill Murray Carl Kaster and Dixie Kaster.
Concern has been raised regarding the upcoming June Fishing Derby. Water levels at the lake have been exceeding low due to the lack of precipitation.
