LPHC hosts rally in Tampa Saturday coinciding with nationwide Day of Resistance

The Day of Resistance, originally organized in New York, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23. This commemoration protests the escalating encroachment from the federal government regarding the Second Amendment rights of all Americans guaranteed by the Constitution.

Many cities across the country, including here in Tampa Bay, have organized similar protests for Saturday. The Libertarian Party of Hillsborough County (LPHC) announced on Thursday morning, Feb. 21, exactly when and where Tampa Bay residents can rally and show solidarity supporting the right of all law-abiding Americans to bear arms.

When and where to find the LPHC rally Saturday

The LPHC will meet around noon on Saturday to promote Second Amendment awareness near the Publix Supermarket in South Tampa, which can be found at the intersection of West Swann Ave and Bayshore Blvd.

At the local rally, the LPHC will provide details on the Day of Resistance, as well as information to interested individuals who desire to become part of a political party that refuses to compromise Constitutional rights to suit the whims of special interest groups, multi-billion dollar corporations, and power hungry politicians.
