Well known restaurant group, Lowlands Group has announced they are throwing their hats into the ring and will compete to become the next "Most Social Company" among the MMAC/COSBE Future 50 winners. Sponsored by BizTimes Media, the online competition allows daily voting from Facebook users. Users can vote until September 13 and the winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000 along with a very special ad package for a non-profit of the winners choosing valued at $10,000. In the case of Lowlands Group, they have chosen DreamBikes-Milwaukee as their non-profit organization of choice.
DreamBikes works with the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee providing teens in urban neighborhoods opportunties they may not have such as teaching them valuable skills they can apply while looking to be a part of the workforce. DreamBikes also provides refurbished bikes to children and adults in those same neighborhoods.
Lowlands group has openly noted their passion about giving back to the community and believes DreamBikes-Milwaukee truly deserves the benefits to be had if they won the competition. Lowlands Group believes so deeply in the story and cause behind DreamBikes, they will also match the $1,000 the restaurant group would receive if they became the next "Most Social Company."
