The weekends are for setting aside work and allowing yourself some family fun time and what better way to do it than making something creative with the kids.
Parents can register their children for a free Build and Grow clinic at Lowe’s on Saturdays at 10 am to build a wooden project they can keep. When you register at your local Lowe’s store kids will receive a free apron, goggles, patch and more. Each week there is a different project to build.
If you are unable to attend or find a free clinic Lowe’s offers a wide variety of Build and Grow kits for adults to work on with children.
The Build and Grow kits range from beginner woodworking race car kits, pirate ship kit, fire truck project kit, school locker kit, and several other beginner kits for Tonka, trains, toys and more items.
Plus there are several kids tools available that kids can work with to make these items such as a 20 piece Build and Grow kids tool kit, a Build and Grow starter kit that includes the apron, goggles, and a child size hammer, or individual tools and other woodworking items.
Find a fun project for you to enjoy with the kids and be sure to teach them about safety when using tools and creating woodworking projects. Most of all make sure it is fun and relaxing for the entire family to get involved with an easy yet educational craft project.
