After a morning low of 21 at Philly International Airport we barely made it above freezing in the afternoon(officially it was 34 at 3:58pm); the average high is supposed to be around 50 while the average low is around the freezing mark.
We'll be around the freezing mark overnight(technically in the upper 20s and temperatures rise with warm air working in)with clouds, but across south and eastern New Jersey and Delaware we will have some sleet changing over to light rain before sunrise. Friday itself will be overcast with light rain along the shore with highs around the lower 40s.
Behind that low we'll clear out by the evening as lows will be in the middle 30s. Saturday will be mostly sunny, but then clouds will increase with a cold front pushing during the overnight. Highs will be in the middle 50s and overnight lows will be around 40 with a mostly cloudy sky and some light rain. Behind the cold front temperatures will be scaled back a bit with highs in the lower 40s with sunshine giving way to high clouds in the afternoon ahead of a short wave overnight(but we will stay dry).
The new work week will be milder with highs ranging from the lower 50s on Monday and then flirting with 60 come Tuesday before clouds increase ahead of a potent low pressure area with plenty of rain riding up the I-95 corridor for the middle of the week.
