On Sunday, January 6, 2013, Dr Dan Sutarov of Midtown Veterinary Services will offer the first low-cost vaccination clinic of the year at Pet Supplies Plus, 19295 West Road, Woodhaven, Michigan, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
A variety of vaccinations and vaccination packages for cats will be available at this monthly event, including FELV (feline leukemia), Feline Distemper (RCP), and rabies (in one year and three year options). In addition, FELV and FIV testing is available, as well as deworming services and microchipping.
For dogs, vaccines include rabies, DHPP/Lepto, Lyme disease, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. Heartworm testing, deworming, and microchipping are also available, as well as heartworm prevention treatments. Costs for heartworm prevention varies according to the weight of the dog, and ranges from $34 to $55.
Each of the vaccines and tests is available individually, and the vaccines are available as packages ranging in price from $61 to $83 for cats and $67 to $78 for dogs. Special programs are also available for puppies and kittens.
