Bailey is finally getting the answers she's always longed for. In Loving, the final installment in the Bailey Flanigan series written by Karen Kingsbury, Bailey is planning her wedding and some major decisions. She enjoys the beginning of her new career and time spent with Brandon Paul, while Cody Coleman is faithfully coaching his team on and off the football field. But where will Bailey actually end up? Will it be in Los Angeles with Brandon? Or back in Bloomington, Indiana with her first love, Cody? Bailey has learned so much and grown over the years, but the greatest challenges, richest joys and deepest heartaches are yet to come. Loving completes Bailey and the others' stories, the long-awaited finale many have waited for.
This is such a bittersweet book, being the last of the series and of so many great characters. Through the whole series I have really struggled with falling in love with Brandon Paul. He just seemed a bit over-the-top for my liking. And Cody Coleman is really likable for me because he's so laid back. But I always wished that they would get it all over with and just end up together like Bailey's mother had always hoped. Now I can't say who Bailey does marry in the end, but regardless of which team you are on, you will enjoy this novel for sure. It's sad that it's finally over, but I have to say: thank you, Karen, for all these lovable characters, and for bringing them to life for so long.
