Loveable pup with big heart in urgent need waiting at San Bernardino shelter

Tank is a blue and white pit bull, but don't let his breed scare you. This two-year-old is loveable, playful, and extremely friendly. A volunteer writes:

Check out the heart underneath Tank's chin; this dog is surely a sweetheart.
Jason Catlin

"Tank is just a big lovable puppy with a bigger heart. All he wanted to do was give kisses and play. I am so very impressed at how gently and lovingly Tank was chewing on my hand and arm; again he is just a big puppy with a big head and big paws... I love this guy. He is a big boy with a bigger heart."

Tank was found as a stray on June 10; his exit date is June 17. He is listed as "Urgent" because his life hangs in a most precarious position at the San Bernardino City Animal Control where pit bulls seem to be the first to be euthanized no matter how young, how sweet or how intelligent.

The San Bernardino City Animal Control is located at 333 Chandler Place, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Phone (909) 384-1304.
