Commonwealth Credit Union members can keep their pets safe for a great price on Friday, September 18 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Commonwealth Credit Union branch at 280 Meijer Way [off Reynolds Road].
PETtrac chips are available for $20 in advance or $30 for day-of-the-event registration. Advance registration forms are available at ccuky.org.
Commonwealth Credit Union and L.I.F.E.House for Animals team up for this great event enabling families to make sure their four-legged loved one is properly identified with a micro-chip. Many disasters around the country, including Hurricane Katrina, have shown Americans how important proper identification is for your pet's safety.
Don't think you need it because you're in Kentucky? Think again.
Kentucky may not have hurricanes but what about when the neighbor accidentally leaves your fence gate open? Or when your visiting mother-in-law forgets your cat doesn't go outdoors?
Exactly. Every pet needs a microchip.
Not a member of Commonwealth Credit Union? Visit the Sniff 'n' Mingle. Support a local humane society and you can probably even learn more about microchips.
