Joyce Meyer's latest non-fiction release, The Love Revolution is a call to action. There's just too much tragedy going on around the world for people to lay back and do nothing. Every and anyone can do something. No, she doesn't expect readers to go out and change the whole world, but she encourages people to start in their own community.
She writes in an urgent tone that lobbies for a do-it-now attitude. In a blog post Joyce Meyers presents stark statistics, "Today we have more resources, more technology, more forms of communication, and more options at our fingertips to help spread the Gospel than ever before. But right now, there are also more unsaved people living on the earth than at any other time in history. At least 2/3 of the population does not know Jesus Christ as their Savior. That’s more than 4 billion people...Four billion who would not go to heaven if they died today. Four billion who need to be told the truth about Jesus Christ and His love for them." (Enhacore.com) This appears to be her motivation for writing The Love Revolution because the world is in need of serious change. A revolution bound in love is necessary because it is the only thing that can overcome barriers - people need to see love in action, not hear it in words.
The Love Revolution is dynamatic and inspiring, but it requires more than just reading.
