Love Pounds

It's new year's eve and in just a few hours people people around the nation will ring in the new year with resolution after resolution. What's. Your New Year's resolution this year? Run a marathon? Get promoted? She'd a few pounds? What's my New Year's resolution? Well I'm so glad that you asked. 2012 was a great year for me! New job, new title, living in the same city (and in the same house no less) as my better half. But with love and security come what I like to call "love pounds.". Women always say that they gain weight when they start a new relationship or after they've just married. Well my experience is a testament to the fact that what women "say" is true. Before I met my boyfriend I hadn't eaten a carb since the 90s! Some people think its great that he's gotten me to eat more "normal" food. My waistline, on the other hand, would beg to differ. 2 years and nearly 15 pounds later, my resolution is to shed my love pounds. How I'll do it? By embracing the rules of the road that I used to swear by: lots of raw fruits and veggies, no carbs, no late night snacking, and lots and lots of two-a-days! It's a hard life to live, but it works and the results are worth it! Wishing you a happy, healthy new year,
