Are you a fan of motorcycles? Do have an interest in how they are built? Or do you just like they way they look and the variety of designs? Well, you should come out and visit the Harley-Davidson factory. Kansas City produces the Sportster, Dyna, and V-Rod ground of bikes from fabrication to completion, including the liquid-cool Revolution power-train for the V-Rod.. They have a couple different tour options available for you to choose from. Both options start with an introductory video and from there you can sit on an actual production bike, see newly formed parts, freshly painted pieces hanging up to dry and highly advanced robotic welding technology. Tour through models of their manufacturing process, as well as up close parts of the factory and get an incredible education on how these bikes are made. The free factory tour offers a limited view of the assembly line and fabrication line, and would last about an hour. They have another tour option, and it does have a cost to it, and it offers a more up close and personal tour of the factory. See a bike made from start to finish, have access to 'employee only' painting and polish areas. This tour would need safety attire and it is provided for you. Tours are not offered on the weekend, and they are only available on a first-come first-served basis. So come on out for incredible view on how these magnificent bikes are made.
