Love, GIRLS Magazine – DC Announces Red-Carpet Ready Prom Giveaway

Love, GIRLS Magazine unveiled its Red-Carpet Ready Prom Giveaway to celebrate the publication’s new DC edition. One lucky girl from the DMV will receive the Grand Prize “Princess Prom Package” – including a designer dress, professional make-up application, manicure/pedicure and $100 department store gift card. Two additional “Love My Look” prizes will be awarded to the most social-media savvy teens. To complete the Red-Carpet Ready Makeovers, Love, GIRLS Magazine has partnered with Jovani, Traci Lynn and Mary Kay.

“The Red-Carpet Ready Prom Giveaway is our way of recognizing what is one of the most exciting time of the year for many teens – prom season,” says Carletta S. Hurt, the DC Managing Editor. “From the dress to the make-up, teens will have the chance to win everything they need for the ultimate prom experience.”

To enter to win, visit Entrants for the grand prize, “Princess Prom Giveaway” will be required to submit a short essay on inner beauty as well as a creative haiku. For the “Love My Look Giveaway”, girls must post a photo of their signature “look” on Twitter or Instagram along with a creative caption and hashtag #LGMLoveMyLook. Love, GIRLS will award two “Love My Look” prizes – one for the submission with the most likes on Facebook and one for the submission with the most likes on Instagram.

“As a small business owner, giving back to the community is extremely important. Further, Prom day is a memorable day for young ladies! I consider it an honor that our jewelry, will allow these lucky young ladies to make a statement on their big day,” said sponsor, Shantha Smith of Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry. “I am grateful to Love, GIRLS for allowing me to participate.
