Love City Live: Reggae rockin' in the U.S. Virgin Islands January 25

A getaway to the warm Caribbean sounds really good right about now, doesn’t it? And wouldn’t it be great, while you’re enjoying the beautiful sights and sweet tastes of the islands, if you could also enjoy some sounds? The U.S. Virgin Islands, where American citizens can go without a passport, is the perfect place to indulge in all of the above including at numerous special events like the big Love City Live reggae music festival about to take place on the island of St. John on January 25.

The headliner for Love City Live this year is soulful Jamaican “lover’s rock” singer Beres Hammond, famed for dancehall hits like “What One Dance Can Do” and “They Gonna Talk.” Warming up the crowd for Hammond will be the Fiyah Train Band, D Harmani, the Unity Band, the Echo People and Final Faze. A series of music-themed parties beginning on January 22 will lead up to festival day, highlighted by the Rockers All-White Beach Party at the Cruz Bay Beachfront on the evening of January 25.
