Viola Russell is a native of New Orleans with long roots in the area. She enjoys writing romance, historical fiction, and mysteries. A teacher by day, she writes on holiday breaks and during summer with her dog by her side. Viola Russell is actually her grandmother's name. She used a pseudonym to preserve her anonymity at school, but the kids, ever tech savvy, outed her. Viola loves to travel, having journeyed to many states in the US and to the UK and Ireland. Ireland is her ancestral homeland, and she would love to see many more countries. Viola revels in Louisiana culture, adoring Cajun food, music, and the French Quarter. About the Book
On the beach in the summer of 1941, eighteen-year-old Nuala Comeaux reconnects with Keith Roussel, a friend of her brothers'.
