It has been a big family-oriented year for country duo “Love and Theft.” Earlier this year Eric Gunderson and his wife Emily welcomed their first child, son Camden. Now Stephen Barker Lilies and fiancée Jenna Michelle Kennedy have baby news of their own to share with fans.
Stephen and Jenna got engaged in May, and according to a tweet from “Love and Theft” on Aug. 28, the couple are expecting their first child in early December. Stephen and Jenna spoke exclusively to People about the new addition to their family.
Stephen Barker Lilies told People that December is a great month for the couple to welcome their baby into the world. Lilies will be home to help the new mom because “December is [“Love and Theft”] freest month of the year.” Hoping all goes according to plan Lilies said, “I’ll be home with Jenna and the baby.
Stephen Barker Lilies and Jenna Michelle Kennedy’s wedding plans are on hold for now. “Right now we’re more focused on nursery colors,” Kennedy said. They couple had originally planned to marry in May 2014, approximately one year after announcing their engagement.
“Love and Theft” became a duo when founding member Brian Bandas left the band. “Love and Theft” released their first single “Angel Eyes” in November 2011. “Angel Eyes” became the first number one single on the “Hot Country Songs” chart for Stephen Barker Lilies and Eric Gunderson. “If You Ever Get Lonely” is the most recent single released from the self-titled CD.
