Love and Theft's Eric Gunderson and wife Emily welcome a new addition (Photos)

There has been a great deal of baby news in the country music community these last few months. Jake Owen and Jennifer Nettles recently became first time parents, while Hillary Scott just announced that she is having a baby girl. Now congratulations are in order for Eric Gunderson of ‘Love and Theft’ and his wife Emily, according to a People report dated, Tuesday, March 12.

The couple is "thrilled to announce the birth of their handsome new addition,” Gunderson's rep tells People.

“He arrived earlier than his expected May due date and will be spending some time in the hospital, but mother, father and baby are all doing well,” continued his rep.

Camden William who was born on Sunday, Mar. 11 in Nashville, Tenn is the first child for Eric, 28, and wife Emily, 26, who wed in April of 2010. Mr. and Mrs. Gunderson shared their news in November, and the sex of the baby the following month.

“Eric and Emily are moved by the tremendous outpouring of warm wishes from their fans, family and country radio,” the rep adds. “They look forward to sharing more updates soon.”

The career of 'Love and Theft' has been particularly on the rise this past year. The duo has enjoyed hits such as “Angel Eyes” and “Runnin’ Out of Air.” If chart-toppers and a precious new baby boy isn’t enough to be excited about, Stephen Barker Liles and Gunderson will be hitting the road with Tim McGraw for his “Two Lanes of Freedom” tour in May.

Until then, country music fans will be staying tuned, and awaiting pictures of the new little one. It is reasonable to believe that he probably has “Angel Eyes.”
