‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ trailer: Mimi’s sex tape, Kirk’s pregnancy test

VH1’s super hot “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” season 3 returns on May 5, and with the highly anticipated trailer being released today by VH1, fans are already getting excited at the idea of what's to come in under one month's time.

Based on the trailer and Monday's shocking news story, the big bombshell of the day is that there is a Mimi Faust sex tape circulating somewhere at TMZ. The popular website claims that there’s no doubt that Mimi is the one in the tape with her man Nikko Smith, and that the two have signed off on having the tape made public, along with the producers of the show not only being aware, but giving their blessing.

On last season of the show, fans were left to wonder if Kirk and Rasheeda would ever get their relationship back on track. Well, based on the new supertrailer, it seems like they have a long way to go.

Kirk is seen in the trailer holding a pregnancy test, of which it appears he’s planning to keep a secret—for now.

The trailer also acknowledges the fact that Benzino got shot last month, a major story that developed in Duxbury, Massachusetts in April.

Of course, the usual players are back. Stevie J continues to scrunch up his face, Erica and Lil’ Scrappy are certainly seen in the trailer, and Joseline is just as fiery as ever.

But it’s not all just sex tape’s and pregnancy test results. There are newcomers to the “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” cast, too. And they’re definitely some big names.

In fact, the trailer introduces Waka Flocka Flame and his fiancée (Tammy Rivera) to the “Love and Hip Hop” family. Bambi from “Basketball Wives LA” has now joined the Atlanta cast, as well as Yung Joc, Kalenna Harper.

It’s safe to say that things will get more than a little controversial when season three commences in less than a month.
