When reading the articles written by the other examiners that deal with children who are special needs they are all informative and have content that is helpful. One part of those other articles that can be sensed is the dedication of helping those children by being their best and educating the parents
Not all children are the same in the development, the diagnosis of Autism, ASD, or whatever little quirk maybe that they have. I feel blessed that our journey is not as rough as it could be or what I do see other parents face. When you are at a crossroads and feel that you cannot believe this is happening to you remember to look around find what has gotten better and remember your situation could always be worse.
Is life perfect with a special needs child? No it is hard, but so rewarding. Personally not only does the child grow, but so does the parent. It takes a special person to raise a child who has a few quirks, patience, understanding, and guidance to go in the right direction. My heart is much fuller and blessed every day with the beautiful soul my daughter possesses.
