As Simon Cowell mentioned that you don't need to win a show to become successful and Kelly adding that the boys work hard for what they've accomplished, it was Demi Lovato's response that brought a bit of surprise as Lovato defended The X Factor winners and contestants.

"I think it's a great reminder not just for the contestants but for America and the rest of the world watching is that specifically with this show (the other shows are doing well) it has so much success with mainstream artists," says Demi. She adds, "I mean Fifth Harmony is taking off. Little Mix is huge and successful as well as One Direction. It goes to show that what our show is about is "The X Factor" and that we have so much talent. They're the ones that you remember their names. To be honest I can't tell you - I have no idea of any winners from "The Voice."'

Interestingly Kelly Rowland's reaction was, "Chuchung!" (hands in the air like a karate chop) while Simon muttered, "Woah."

Currently, One Direction is the most popular boy band today having only placed third in "The X Factor" (UK). The group have sold 19 million singles and 10 million albums while the title "Top New Artist" was bestowed on them by Billboard Magazine in 2012.

To date, the only notable contestant or winner from "The Voice" is Cassadee Pope. Pope has been creating waves with the public as her premiere solo country album, Frame by Frame debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top Country Albums charts, and was preceded by Top 10 country single, "Wasting All These Tears".
