Saturday's 2014 NCAA basketball live stream and televised games schedule brings what could be a tough battle from the AAC when the Louisville Cardinal visit the UCONN Huskies in Storrs, Connecticut. The latest matchup will have UCONN trying to win its second-straight game over a ranked team, after just pulling off a win at Memphis last week. Meanwhile, Louisville, ranked No. 18 in the AP Top 25 and No. 14 in the USA Today polls, will look to improve to 5-1 in the conference and 16-4 overall. The latest televised and live stream NCAA basketball game will be presented to fans via ESPN sports network sources.

An report from Jan. 18 indicates that it was unclear as of the latest reports if guard Ryan Boatright would be available for Saturday night's game. Boatright is dealing with the tragic loss of his cousin who was shot to death this past Monday. Boatright played against No. 17 Memphis on Thursday and registered seven points in a 83-73 UCONN upset win. As for Louisville, they'll be without their backcourt starter Chris Jones as well. Cardinals coach Rick Pitino said of the situation:

"We know it's going to be a great game. They've got one of the premiere backcourts. I wish Chris (Jones) was playing -- he's not going to play, I wish he was."

A big part of what makes Connecticut's "premiere backcourt" is points, rebounds and assists leader Shabazz Napier. The 6-1 senior guard currently has 16.1 points per game along 6.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. Napier put in a double-double in Thursday's win over Memphis, leading the way with 17 points and 10 assists. As of this report, he's also listed as a No. 28 pick for the upcoming NBA draft, making every big performance he records that much more important.

This pivotal game could be won based on which team wins the battle of the boards, a category where UCONN has struggled. Louisville ranks 40th in the nation with 39.2 rebounds per game, thanks to sophomore Montrezl Harrell's 8.2 per game and junior Chane Benahan's 6.3 per game. Guard Russ Smith currently leads the Cardinals with 18.1 points per game and nearly 5 assists, also adding 3.3 rebounds a contest. The 6-0 senior should make for an interesting matchup against Napier in the backcourt battle to be held at UCONN.

Odds makers have the For tonight's game, the ranked Cardinals first opened as 1-point favorites at Connecticut, but they've since risen as high as 3-point favorites. The over/under points total for the game is set at various books at 139 to 140 1/2 points. As noted, Ryan Boatright of the Huskies is listed as "probable" for tonight's game due to personal reasons.
