Louisville’s Kevin Ware gets a hug from his Father (Photos)

If you had the opportunity to watch the game between Wichita State and Louisville on Saturday April 6, 2013 then you know how emotional the ending was as Louisville came from behind to win the game.

For those of you who are not familiar with Kevin Ware he is the Louisville player that sustained an injury so severe until they wouldn’t show it. Just the sheer look of agony and emotion on everyone’s face that was in attendance at that game said enough.

In his inability to play Ware was still able to attend the game to cheer on his teammates. With the win this means Louisville advances to the Finals which will be played on Monday night April 8, 2013 against Michigan. At this point the winner takes all.

What caused Ware to become overly emotional after the victory, the fact that his father whom he had not seen in over a year made it to the game.

After the game his dad was able to make his way down to the court and share in an emotional embrace with his son.

This moment clearly made the ending to this game bigger than basketball. It became more about the fact that their is nothing like an emotional relationship and bond between a Father and his Son.
