Louisville Ballet's holiday classic and, arguably, its most popular show The Nutcracker will open tomorrow.

The Brown-Forman Nutcracker will take place on Dec. 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, and 22 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Afternoon shows will happen on Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 1:30 p.m. each day. All performances are to occur in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located in downtown Louisville at 501 W Main Street.

Tickets for each show are $30-$97 per person, depending on the seat. All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center website, the Kentucky Center box office, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.

The Brown-Forman Nutcracker is the Louisville Ballet's traditional holiday favorite, a show all ages have and can attend. Dancing soldiers, pastilles, and a Nutcracker lead a girl and the audience through a unique and wonderful world of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Land of Sweets.

However, watch out for the Mouse King, who is looking to destroy the Nutcracker.

Val Caniparoli choreographed the show with the famous music of Tchaikovsky.

More information on the show can be found at the Louisville Ballet and Kentucky Center websites.
